Learn how the ACLC's African Canadian Youth Justice Program serves African Canadian youth involved in the justice system while providing community supports.

The ACLC supports the National African Canadian Initiative on Full Participation and Capacity Building.

Employment and Workplace Issues

Legal Aid Ontario and the independent community law clinics operating in Ontario can provide assistance to clients on employment and workplace matters such as the following:

  • Employment Insurance
  • workplace safety and insurance
  • Workers' Compensation
  • employment rights

Clients should get in touch with a community legal clinic directly to see if it can assist with a specific employment or workplace problem. The community clinics will determine if clients meet the financial eligibility criteria to use their services.
